The palindrome checker, 34 years later
Back in the fall of 1992, I had a semester project in my first (and last) computer science course at Simon Fraser University - CMPT 103, Pascal Programming. The assignment: write a palindrome checker.
It was a huge (and somewhat painful) endeavour, and it even required help from an engineering friend who lived on my floor in residence. Poor guy - as if he didn't have enough to do already.
Contrast that with Grok Build, which did it this week in a few minutes - and a much better job. Check it out here.
