Being known by machines

After renewing passports for me and my daughter this morning — by the way, after years of going there, the Vancouver Passport Office is no longer in that wonderful building downtown at the Sinclair Centre; it's on Granville Street now (granted, it seems like a much more efficient setup) — I spent a chunk of the rest of the morning and early afternoon reading three different AIs' descriptions / memories of me: Grok, Muse, and Instinct.

And correcting them like family members who got a story wrong. (Eva is NOT a grown child.)

It feels strange when the summary of me needs an editor. And confusing — how am I supposed to manage versions of the truth? Which one is canonical? Who's keeping score?

Needing an AI agent to manage AI seems like a bit of a circular proposition…

Maybe that's the point. Or maybe I just need a quieter afternoon.
